报告摘要：In this talk, I will report some recent progress of the study on chaotic behavior of hyperbolic dynamical systems, which mainly contains Existence of periodic orbits and Smale horseshoes with some applications.
报告人简介：连增，四川大学数学学院教授、博士生导师、国家杰出青年基金获得者，美国纽约大学库朗研究所博士后、美国杨百翰大学数学博士、南开大学数学与应用数学学士。连增教授主要致力于动力系统与遍历理论的研究工作，具体内容包括随机或无穷维动力系统的光滑遍历理论、混沌理论和遍历极值问题等，在该领域取得了若干重要研究进展，相关结果发表在Journal of the American Mathematical Society，Memoirs of the American Mathematical Society，Advances in Mathematics，Journal of Differential Equations等国际一流数学期刊。
