报告摘要:Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) is a teaching heuristic that is advocated by the Ministry of Education of Singapore, and it is well-known among teachers. But how do the mathematics teachers in Singapore interpret CPA and hence implement it in their classrooms? In this talk, the speaker will share a research project that investigates how teachers’ enactment of CPA can be used to contribute to embellishment with respect to its theoretical development.
