报告摘要：I would like to introduce my recent studies on the Neumann version of the Hardy inequality, and its nonlinear extension if time allows.
报告人简介：Jaeyoung Byeon is a professor of mathematics at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST). He received his PhD degree in 1996 from University of Tokyo, Japan. Before moving to KAIST he was a faculty member at Pohang University of Science and Technology. His research area covers in general nonlinear PDEs, Calculus of Variations, Geometric Analysis. He has received many honors including Presidential Young Sciences Award in South Korea (2004), Member of Korean Academy of Science and Technology (2021), DI Prize for Mathematicians by the Korean Mathematical Society (2022). Currently he serves as vice president of the Korean Mathematical Society.
