报告摘要： In this talk, I will first introduce the Nevanlinna theory about holomorphic curves in algebraic variety intersecting general divisors. Then I'll describe how to use the result to derive some GCD problems, and further, the application of the GCD problems in the study of holomorphic maps.
报告人简介：汝敏(Ru Michael Min)，美国休斯敦大学教授，美国数学学会会士。汝敏教授于1983年获得华东师范大学学士学位，1990年获得美国圣母大学博士学位。2002年至今为休斯顿大学教授。汝敏教授的研究方向为复几何与代数几何，尤其在Nevanlinna理论和丢番图逼近等问题做出十分卓越的工作，在Invent. Math., Ann. of Math., J. Differential Geom., Amer. J. Math., Tran. Amer. Math. Soc., Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN, J. Geom. Anal.,Math. Z., Sci. China Math.等国际一流的数学杂志发表了数十篇学术论文。
